We welcome the community to attend this event to learn more about the resources available in their area, specific to whatever healthcare needs they have. This is a free event for the community to attend! We will have providers in the area, as well as public resources to learn more about. We hope that you can attend this one-stop-shop for your healthcare needs!

St. Elizabeth Annual Veterans Appreciation Luncheon

The event will include a Presentation of Colors, local speaker Craig McKee of WCPO Channel 9, music from the Covington Catholic Choir, a flag display and salute from the Patriot Riders, raffles and a complimentary, catered lunch. This year, we will be collecting photos of our Veteran attendees in order to create a presentation, which will showcase their service. Our goal is to recognize and honor Veterans during every stage of their journey, both during and after their service. Veterans of all ages from across Northern Kentucky, Greater Cincinnati and Southeast Indiana are invited to attend. Each Veteran is invited to bring one guest.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Celebration: Day of Celebration

The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Indiana Holiday Commission, the Indiana Civil Rights Commission, Indiana Black Expo, Inc., the Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and AFSCME Local #725 will be hosting the celebration and award ceremony to commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Thursday, January 11 at 12:00 PM in the Indiana Statehouse North Atrium. This year’s celebration is centered around Dr. King’s quote “every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or the darkness of destructive selfishness” from his sermon, “Three Dimensions of a Complete Life”. At this ceremony, four Hoosiers who have followed in the footsteps of Dr. Martin wanted Luther King, Jr. will be given awards for their service to our communities and the state.
